Our Statement of Faith
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is God’s complete revelation to mankind and serves as the final authority for all matters of faith and Christian living. Because God is its ultimate Author, the Scriptures are trustworthy, sufficient, and profitable for teaching, correction, and spiritual growth. We use the King James Version as the official Bible translation of our church while recognizing that other faithful translations may be helpful for study.

God
We believe there is one true and living God who eternally exists in three distinct Persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each Person is fully God, equal in power, glory, and majesty, yet together they are one God. God is holy, sovereign, loving, just, and faithful. He created all things, rules over His creation according to His perfect will, and accomplishes His purposes for His glory and the good of His people.

Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became fully man through the virgin birth without ceasing to be God. He lived a sinless life, willingly died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and now intercedes for believers at the Father’s right hand. One day He will return personally and visibly to establish His kingdom and reign forever.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is God and actively works in the lives of believers. He convicts the world of sin, brings sinners to faith in Christ, indwells every believer, and seals them until the day of redemption. The Holy Spirit teaches God’s Word, produces spiritual growth, empowers believers for holy living, and equips each Christian with gifts to serve the church and glorify Christ.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is God and actively works in the lives of believers. Humanity
We believe every person is created in the image of God and therefore possesses inherent dignity and value. Through Adam’s sin, however, all people inherited a sinful nature and stand separated from God. Because of this fallen condition, no one can earn salvation through personal goodness or religious effort. Every person is in need of God’s grace through Jesus Christ.

Salvation
We believe salvation is the free gift of God’s grace and is received by faith alone in Jesus Christ. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin and offers complete forgiveness and eternal life to all who trust in Him. Salvation cannot be earned by works but is entirely the work of God’s grace, resulting in a transformed life that seeks to honor Him.

Eternal Security
We believe that every person who has genuinely trusted Jesus Christ as Savior is kept by God’s power and is secure in Him forever. While believers continue to grow in holiness throughout their lives, their salvation rests upon God’s faithfulness rather than human effort. This assurance encourages joyful obedience and faithful service rather than careless living.

The Church
We believe the local church is a body of baptized believers who gather to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, encourage one another, and serve their communities. Jesus Christ is the Head of the church, and each congregation is responsible to follow His Word. God has given pastors and deacons to lead and serve the church as it fulfills the Great Commission.

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper are the two ordinances Christ gave His church. Baptism publicly identifies a believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and follows salvation. The Lord’s Supper is a memorial that reminds believers of Christ’s sacrificial death and proclaims His return until He comes again.

Our Mission
We believe every follower of Jesus Christ is called to glorify God by growing in faith, loving others, serving the church, and sharing the Gospel with the world. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we seek to make disciples, strengthen families, and demonstrate Christ’s love through both word and deed until He returns.
